Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Here is a quick and easy recipe that feeds my family of four and leaves soup for leftovers or you can make 2 pies!
2 pie crusts,
1 can of cream of potato soup
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 bag of frozen mixed veggies or a can of mixed veggies
1 or 2 cans of canned chicken (depending on how hearty you like your pie)

I warm the soups together with one can a milk (from the empty soup can) and add the veggies and chicken.
I heat this on medium until it is warmed enough to eaten as a soup.

While heating the soup place a pie crust in the bottom of a pie pan and fill with the soup.  Cover the top with the other pie crust and bake at 350 until the crust is golden brown.  Usually about 25 minutes.

My husband and sons love this easy dish.  I was buying baked pot pies at our local grocery store deli for 7.99 each.  I decided I could make my own pot pies cheaper and with more portions.  I hope you enjoy this recipe.  I look forward to any recipes you would like to share.
